When they arrived at 117-119 East Broad Street, smoke and flames were coming from a second floor apartment on the 117 side. The building housed businesses on the first floor and another unoccupied apartment on the 119 side. The heat from flames melted siding on another home nearby. One firefighter sustained a non life threatening injury and was taken for treatment.
