SCRANTON, Pa. — Former Scranton Mayor Bill Courtright was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Courtright must also pay a $25,300 fine and complete 250 hours of community service.
Courtright resigned from his position as mayor of Scranton, before abruptly pleading guilty to public corruption in July, 2019.
Courtright must report to prison by October 30, 2020.
