Cases of the coronavirus continue to increase and many events are being postponed. They include St. Patrick's parades in Scranton, Wilkes Barre, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Lackawanna and Keystone Colleges are extending their spring breaks. Penn State, the University of Scranton, Kings College, Marywood and Misericordia Universities as well as Wyoming Seminary are all moving to on line classes. The statewide total so far of COVID-19 is now 17 cases. Gov. Tom Wolf's administration is telling state workers to avoid out-of-state business travel and large gatherings.
