The Reading & Northern Railroad is returning passenger trains to Jim Thorpe beginning August 14th. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the railroad is proceeding with precautions to make guests feel more comfortable. Extra cars to allow empty seats and all passengers are welcome to wear masks. Open air cars will also be on the train offering open air seating. Tickets go on sale beginning Wednesday. More information is available on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway facebook page.
