This week’s featured beer is a German Hefeweizen called SchÖfferhofer Passion Fruit. I’m not someone who sees “passion fruit” and says “I need to have that,” but the Friday Beer Buzz offers an opportunity for a craft beer newbie like myself to step outside of my comfort zone. In this case, I’m happy I did. This beverage comes in at a low 2.5 ABV, and is bursting with fruit flavor. On a hot day, this would be amazing. Smooth. Easy to drink. It’s not for everybody, but there’s no doubt in my mind that this beer will surprise you.
