An overnight shooting outside a business in Freeland, Luzerne County, has resulted in the death of one teenager and injury to another. Pennsylvania State Police were notified around 2:30 a.m. this morning that two gunshot victims had been transported to the hospital. Through their investigation, troopers determined that an 18-year-old male and a 15-year-old boy were both struck by gunfire outside a local business. Tragically, the 18-year-old later died at the hospital, while the 15-year-old sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and is expected to survive. Authorities have not yet publicly released the name of the victim who died, and the investigation into the deadly shooting remains ongoing.
