Rescuers in Scranton retrieved an 18-year-old woman from Nay Aug Gorge on Thursday after she jumped into the water near the Kanjorski Bridge. Rescue crews were called out around 2:30 Thursday afternoon to a report of a woman in the water. The woman was removed from the gorge, treated for back injuries and transported to Geisinger Community Medical Center. Authorities say the woman was trying to get a picture or video of herself jumping into the water, Judge said. None of the rescuers were injured.
