Pennsylvania State Police and the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office are searching for a Scranton man following a major drug and weapons bust on Wednesday evening. Authorities executed a search warrant at an apartment on Cedar Avenue in South Scranton, capping off an ongoing, multi-agency investigation into illegal narcotics trafficking and firearms possession in the neighborhood. During the raid, investigators seized large quantities of illicit drugs and a firearm from inside the residence.
State police confirmed that an arrest warrant has been officially issued for Benjamin Mosely of Scranton, who was identified as the primary target of the narcotics investigation. Mosely was not inside the apartment when tactical officers entered the home, and his current whereabouts remain unknown. Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding Mosely's location to contact law enforcement immediately, noting that the investigation remains active and additional charges may follow his apprehension.
