NANTICOKE, PA — A Luzerne County man faces hundreds of felony charges following an investigation by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section into the possession and online dissemination of child sexual abuse material.

Michael J. Grevera, 43, of Nanticoke, was arraigned on 663 felony counts after special agents traced the possession and sharing of illicit files to an IP address at his East Union Street residence. According to investigators, agents executed a search warrant at the home late last month, seizing multiple electronic devices and discovering that Grevera had shared at least 99 files.

A magisterial district judge set bail at $250,000. As conditions of release should he post bail, Grevera is barred from leaving Luzerne County without court permission, prohibited from having any contact with children, and forbidden from coming within 500 feet of schools or playgrounds.

In a public statement, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday characterized the volume of illegal materials recovered as deeply disturbing, emphasizing that the prosecution and eradication of child exploitation materials remain an ongoing priority for the state.

The case will be prosecuted by the Office of Attorney General's Child Predator Section. Authorities noted that the investigation remains ongoing, and law enforcement is asking anyone with relevant information regarding Grevera to contact the Office of Attorney General helpline at (800) 385-1044.
