In a social media posting yesterday, Bishop Joseph Bambera says he tested positive for COVID 19. The head of the Diocese of Scranton says the positive test was done Thursday morning. In the post Bishop Bambera said he is experiencing mild flu like symptoms and is following all medical advice. The Bishop is fully vaccinated and received a booster shot.
