Wilkes-Barre Mayor George Brown wins another term, a resounding win for the Democrat over challenger Harry Cropp III. Brown received 82% of the vote. In Hazleton, Republican Mayor Jeff Cusat was re-elected to a third term serving the city. Cusat garnered 53% of the vote in a three way race with Democrat Vianney Castro and Independent Cindee Deluca.
