A woman from Carbondale is charged with endangering the welfare of children among others after investigators say she prevented her daughter's surgical wounds from healing. According to Lackawanna County Office of Youth and Family Services, they were alerted to suspected child abuse back in June and found 31 year old Yvette Marie Brady allegedly kept her 10 year old daughters wounds from healing from January 2020 until July 2022. They say it was done so she could continue to receive donations from fundraisers and a GoFund Me Campaign that has been held to assist with medical expenses for her own use. Brady is currently free on bail.
