The cause of a deadly house fire in one part of Lackawanna County is still under investigation, although initial reports it's not considered suspicious. A neighbor alerted authorities of smoke coming from a home at 667 Griffin Pond Road in South Abington Township around 6:30 last evening. When crews arrived the house was engulfed in flames. Fire crews from numerous departments responded. When the fire was brought under control the body of a 62 year old man was found inside. His identity has not yet been released.
