Penn State is reporting a chickenpox outbreak at its main campus in State College. University Health Services confirmed three cases on campus. Those with two doses of the varicella vaccine or who have had the disease before are considered protected. Symptoms typically develop within 10 to 21 days of exposure. University officials say anyone showing symptoms should isolate and contact a health care provider.
