A former Catholic priest and registered sex offender is facing child porn charges. Robert Michael Timchak Junior is in the Luzerne County prison accused of downloading child pornography. The 56 year old Luzerne resident has a preliminary hearing set for November first. Timchak has been in trouble before on similar charges - having been released from prison in 2012. During his time as a priest Timchak served at parishes in the Diocese of Scranton.
