The Wayne County Coroner has identified the victim who tragically lost his life in the devastating early morning house fire on 7th Street in Honesdale. Authorities confirmed that 23-year-old Sheldron Endriss was unable to escape the burning structure as the fast-moving flames quickly engulfed the home. The intense blaze completely destroyed the residence and drew an emergency response from multiple local fire companies around 2:30 a.m.
The Honesdale fire chief provided an update on the survivors, confirming that two of the three injured individuals sustained severe injuries and were flown directly to a specialized burn center in the Lehigh Valley for advanced treatment.
