Dunmore native to succeed Dr. Anthony Fauci at NIAID

A Dunmore native will be succeeding Dr. Anthony Fauci as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.  Dr. Jeanne Marrazo was named Wednesday by the National Institute of Health. Marrazzo, a 1980 graduate of Dunmore High School, is a professor and Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard , and attended medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
