One person is dead and another is injured following a late-night rollover crash in southern Luzerne County. Pennsylvania State Police report the accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday along Carbon Street in Foster Township, near Freeland.
Investigators say there were two people inside the vehicle when it flipped over. One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second was transported to a local hospital for treatment. State police indicate that speed and poor weather conditions are believed to have been contributing factors in the crash. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
