Funeral services for Trooper Michael Pahira will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, in Schuylkill County.
Trooper Pahira died on Wednesday, July 1st, after he was hit by a tractor-trailer while conducting a motor vehicle inspection along Interstate 81 south in Butler Township.
According to Trooper Pahira's obituary, funeral services are planned for Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the North Schuylkill High School Auditorium.
A public visitation will be held before the services from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Trooper Pahira served as a trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police for nearly 20 years.
