Northeast Pa. has the distinction of having the most expensive gas prices in Pennsylvania.  According to AAA, gas prices in the Scranton>Wilkes –Barre/Hazleton metro area average at $4.39 a gallon, as of May 2.   Bloomsburg-Berwick: $4.38, #3. State College: $4.37, #4. Philadelphia (PA only): $4.37 and #5. Erie: $4.37 round out the Top 5 areas with the priciest gas in Pennsylvania.
