Fire investigators in Lackawanna County are working to determine the cause of a fire that broke out at a business in Archbald on Monday morning. Emergency crews rushed to the scene just after 9:00 a.m. after receiving reports of flames inside Tomaino’s Lounge, located at the intersection of Harrison and North Main Streets.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered active flames inside the building but were able to quickly coordinate an attack. Thanks to a swift response, crews managed to successfully contain and extinguish the fire in about 30 minutes, preventing severe structural damage to the rest of the property. No injuries were immediately reported, and the exact origin of the blaze remains under active investigation.
