
Members of the The Luzerne County Board of Elections voted yesterday to approve voters in Luzerne County will be using paper ballots when they go to the polls for the primary election coming up May 16. Voters will also be using electronic poll books. Poll worker training is set for the last two weeks in April which will include special training in the use of the electronic poll books as well as a week for judges of elections and another for poll workers. Those who vote by mail ballot are expected to receive them by April 26. They also announced that a ballot drop box will be available at Wright Manor assisted living in Mountain Top along with those at Penn Place in Wilkes Barre and Broad Street Exchange in Hazleton.
