WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A Luzerne County jury has acquitted an Exeter man of all charges in connection with an attempted homicide case stemming from a shooting on Christmas night in 2023.
Following an eight-day trial, the jury found 23-year-old Wadee Dwikat not guilty on all counts. Dwikat had been facing charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, burglary, theft, and criminal trespass.
The charges were filed after a man was shot during an incident in Courtdale on December 25, 2023. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment and was later released.
With the delivery of the unanimous not guilty verdicts on all counts, Dwikat has been cleared of all criminal liability in the case.
