Keystone College’s appeal of its accreditation withdrawal has been formally accepted by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the spring semester will continue during the appeal period. Keystone’s spring semester begins Jan. 13. The college is appealing the commission’s Adverse Action on Nov. 21, which indicated it would withdraw its accreditation effective Dec. 31. A loss of accreditation would spell the end of the 156-year-old school. On Nov. 26, Keystone College filed its intent to appeal, filing its appeal notice on Dec 12th. which included a deposit against expenses, the final step required for Keystone to move forward with its appeal.
