The Lackawanna County District Attorney's Office released a statement (seen below) on Tuesday morning, confirming that there is "significant law enforcement activity ongoing in the Connell's Patch section of Old Forge" that is related to the disappearance of Robert Baron Sr.
Baron, the owner of Ghigiarelli's Pizza in Old Forge, didn't show up for work on January 26, 2017. Baron's family reported him missing. When police arrived at the restaurant "it immediately became clear that a violent altercation had occurred inside."
Robert Baron's body has not been located and "detectives believe Robert was likely the victim of a homicide."
