PITTSTON, PA — The superintendent of the Pittston Area School District, Kevin Booth, is facing charges following a domestic dispute at his home Sunday night.
According to court records, Pittston City police were called to Booth's residence on Union Street at approximately 9:15 p.m. for a report that a man had choked a woman. Booth was arraigned Monday by District Judge Brian Tupper of Kingston Township.
He faces a misdemeanor charge of simple assault and a summary offense of harassment. Booth was released on $2,500 unsecured bail.
