Scranton man charged for allegedly firing shots in the city last month

A Scranton man was charged after a shots fired incident in Lackawanna County. Police say Khalid Jones was arrested and charged after he fired shots that hit multiple vehicles and then fled the scene outside of Solstice Bar along the 100 block of West Market Street in Scranton around 2am on March 23rd. During a search of Jones’ home, authorities discovered an abundance of evidence along with two "ghost guns", handguns without serial numbers identifying markings, or ammunition. Jones was charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person. Officials say additional firearms charges for the ghost guns are forthcoming.
