State Police have arrested a Bloomsburg man in connection with the death of his wife, whose body was discovered in a wooded area over the weekend.
Investigators say 37-year-old Vincent Lloyd Harp was taken into custody Sunday without incident. He is facing criminal homicide and related charges in the death of his wife, 33-year-old Katlyn Harp, who had previously been reported missing.
The Columbia County Coroner’s Office responded to a wooded area on Harp Lane in Montour Township around 3:30 p.m. Sunday and identified the remains found as Katlyn Harp.
Vincent Harp was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Brenda Hess, denied bail, and remanded to the Columbia County Correctional Facility.
Authorities say the cause of death is pending the results of a forensic autopsy scheduled for today.
