Manhunt underway for suspect in Hazleton murder

Luzerne County District Attorney Sam Sam Sanguedolce named a suspect today in the killing of 39 year old Jessica Lockwood. Her burning body was found along the side of Club 40 Road in Hazleton the morning of April 27. 55 year old Terence Ray, of Muir Avenue in Hazleton, is sought on an open count of homicide and other charges. An autopsy found Lockwood died before she was set on fire and attributed her death to a gunshot wound and blunt force trauma and ruled her death a homicide. Police believe Ray murdered the woman at his home, where they say they found a pool of blood and the victim's stud earring that was missing from her body. Ray remains at large.
