Marijuana bust at a home in the Minooka section of Scranton

A marijuana growing operation was busted at a home in the Minooka section of Scranton. According to officials it was said to be worth more than one million dollars. According to a Scranton Police news release, after a months long investigation, a warrant was served at a home in the 2600 of Cedar Ave. Two men from New York City were arrested and are now facing numerous charges related to the two active growing operations they found inside containing over 800 plants and some 100 pounds of harvested marijuana. The home was also condemned.
