McGloin's resignation up for vote at meeting today

The Lackawanna County Commissioners say they will accept Matt McGloin's resignation at today's meeting. Their expected vote formalizing McGloin's departure likely moves forward plans to name his successor from the three-person list drawn up by the county's Democratic Party Executive Committee and forwarded to the county court of common pleas for the judges to name a successor. Those names are former county economic development director Brenda Sacco, Olyphant Council President James Baldan and Scranton School Board Director Robert Casey.
