Another hacking incident has been reported involving files of local patients. This time Commonwealth Health announced the target was Commonwealth Health Physician Network-Cardiology also known as Great Valley Cardiology. It was discovered back on April 13. According to Commonwealth officials, private data of over 181,000 patients may have been compromised. A forensic identification has been done to identify those affected and the group has been disconnected from the network to prevent further access. Notices have been sent to those affected clients.
