A New Jersey man is facing charges in Luzerne County after police say a traffic stop led to the discovery of stolen vehicles.
According to authorities, officers in West Hazleton conducted a traffic stop yesterday morning after noticing equipment violations on a car hauler driven by 20-year-old Jhonathan Santos-Rodriguez. During the stop, police discovered two stolen Lexus sport utility vehicles on the hauler.
The SUVs had been reported stolen by the New York City Police Department. Santos-Rodriguez was taken into custody at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
