Pennsylvania’s regular firearms deer season is set to begin on Saturday, November 29th, and will run through Saturday, December 13th. The season is anticipated to draw more than half a million hunters, many clad in fluorescent orange, into the fields and forests across the state. A hunter who holds a valid general hunting license is permitted to harvest one antlered deer. Additionally, a hunter is authorized to take one antlerless deer for each specific antlerless license they possess, which are issued for individual Wildlife Management Units. All detailed regulations and licensing information is available on the Pennsylvania Game Commission's official website at pa.gov.
