Pennsylvania has officially extended the deadline to apply for the Property Tax and Rent Rebate program to December 31, 2026, offering eligible residents extra time to claim relief on housing expenses paid during 2025. The extension applies to older adults aged 65 and older, widows and widowers aged 50 and older, and individuals with disabilities aged 18 and older. Depending on annual income, eligible applicants can receive a maximum standard rebate of up to 1,000 dollars. State officials announced that approved disbursements will begin rolling out on July 1, and individuals can file their claims online through the official program portal. You can access the portal and submit your claim directly through the Pennsylvania myPATH Portal.

On the homepage, look for the Rebates panel to find the application link. You do not need to create a user ID or password to file your property tax or rent rebate claim.
