Pennsylvania Hits Record Revenue Numbers for 2020/2021 Fiscal Year

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has released revenue figures for the 2020/2021 fiscal year. The fiscal year, which runs from July 1st to June 20th, reached a record $3.875 billion. The record revenue growth is linked to new sports and fantasy gaming options.

The previous high revenue occurred during the 2018/2019 fiscal year when revenue peaked at just more than $3.3 billion.

The estimated combined tax revenue for the 2020/2021 fiscal year was $1,593,642,159, up more than half a billion dollars from the pandemic affected 2019/2020 fiscal year.  The tax revenue figures reflect amounts generated prior to any adjustments by the PA Department of Revenue.
