LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Two people were hospitalized with burn injuries following a propane tank explosion in Salem Township on Monday.
According to the Salem Township Fire Department, crews were dispatched to a home on Main Street in Beach Haven around 2 p.m. A 20-pound propane tank had reportedly exploded in the yard, injuring two residents.
The individuals were transported to a hospital for treatment of their burns. Their current conditions have not been released. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
