At the Scranton City Council meeting last night, council heard two options for the Nay Aug Park pool complex. BKP Architects PC from Philadelphia presented two proposals. One would include a splash pad and pool with a slide and lap lanes at a cost of 6.47 million dollars. The other would also have a splash pad but two smaller pools, one which would have lap lanes costing 6.33 million dollars. Plans also included a new pump house but would renovate the current pool bath house. The money used for the project comes from federal American Rescue Plan Act and grant funding. Video of the presentation can be seen on ECTV's YouTube channel.
