At the Scranton City Council meeting last night, council heard two options for the Nay Aug Park pool complex. BKP Architects PC from Philadelphia presented two proposals. One would include a splash pad and pool with a slide and lap lanes at a cost of 6.47 million dollars. The other would also have a splash pad but two smaller pools, one which would have lap lanes costing 6.33 million dollars. Plans also included a new pump house but would renovate the current pool bath house. The money used for the project comes from federal American Rescue Plan Act and grant funding.
