SCRANTON, PA — Fire crews responded to a dwelling along the intersection of Olive Street and North Washington Avenue early this morning following a report of a fire. The call came in around 2:30 A.M.
Firefighters were able to quickly locate and contain the blaze, which was identified as a kitchen fire in one of the units. Due to the rapid response, the fire was put out with minimal spread.
The Scranton Fire Department is currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the early morning fire. The extent of the damage to the affected unit is not yet known.
