Congressman Dan Meuser has taken his name out of the running for Speaker of the House. Meuser, who represents the 9th Congressional District, made the announcement last evening citing other commitments including to support former President Trump's campaign for re-election in 2024. Now 8 candidates remain in the running for House Speaker. A floor vote could happen this afternoon.
