Roadwork on Interstate 81 in Luzerne County

A travel advisory from PennDOT. There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Luzerne County on Tuesday and Wednesday for bridge inspections. On Tuesday restrictions will be in place between Exit 170B (Route 309/North Cross Valley Expressway) and Exit 175 (Pittston/Dupont). On Wednesday restrictions will be in place between Exit 175A (Pittston/Route 315) and Exit 170B (Route 309/North Cross Valley Expressway.) Restrictions will be in place from 7:30 PM to 3:00 PM each day.  And there will be rolling traffic slowdowns on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound between Exit 141 (Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Beltway) and Exit 143 (Hazleton/Route 924) on Tuesday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for overhead utility wire pulling.
