A Scranton man, 25-year-old Kartier Sherry, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with allegedly assaulting a man with a box cutter earlier this week. According to a criminal complaint, Scranton police officers were called to Geisinger Community Medical Center around 2:18 a.m. on Sunday for a victim who had suffered multiple lacerations. The victim was able to identify Sherry to police as his alleged attacker. Sherry now faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for later this month.
