In a Lackawanna County courtroom, Amir Williams of Scranton , was sentenced to 38 years in state prison for an act of gang violence that took the life of an 18-year-old. Police say Tyler McKenna, died after being attacked in June of 2022 in a parking lot on West Olive Street. That stabbing happened right down the road from Scranton High School. Two other teenagers have been charged in this case. The Lackawanna County District Attorney says he cannot comment on those cases since they are in juvenile court.
