Pa. Senate passes bill to protect property owners from squatters

The Pennsylvania Senate unanimously approved legislation to protect property owners from squatters. Senate Bill 1236 would codify Pennsylvania case law to establish more certainty for homeowners, landlords and law enforcement who encounter squatters, announced bill sponsor Sen. Dan Laughlin. The measure was sent to the House of Representatives for consideration.
