
One person suffered a minor injury following a handful of crashes Sunday on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Luzerne County. State police said a sudden snow squall slicked the roads around noon led to a tractor trailer jackknifing on the Turnpike around mile marker 109. The driver, sustained a minor injury but did not need to be hospitalized. His truck blocked both travel lanes. By 2 p.m. Sunday, traffic started flowing again on both the north and southbound sides of the Pa Turnpike.
