Scranton police are asking the public to help find a thief they believe is responsible for stealing from a charity auction. Scranton Police have posted a surveillance video on their Facebook page, showing a man grabbing a purse from a charity auction table inside Cooper's Seafood House on North Washington Avenue in the City. A man is seen grabbing a purse from a charity auction table inside the restaurant.It was being auctioned off to raise money for Saint Joseph's Center.
