A man from Honesdale was stopped at the Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport with a loaded handgun according to TSA officers. According to reports the man, who was not identified, was caught with a 9mm handgun loaded with eleven bullets at the security checkpoint on Friday. TSA officials said this is the first firearm detected at the airport this year. The man from Honesdale will face a stiff financial civil penalty, which could reach a maximum of $15,000.
