WAYNE COUNTY, PA — A crash late Sunday night in Berlin Township sent twelve people to the hospital, including three who were flown by medical helicopter.
According to reports, the White Mills Fire Department responded around 10 p.m. to a crash along a private drive near Camp SCHI, outside Hawley. Officials said a vehicle carrying 12 people crashed after the driver swerved to avoid a deer.
All twelve occupants were transported to the hospital, with three airlifted due to the severity of their injuries. Their current conditions have not been released.
State Police are actively investigating the crash.
