A Wayne County man faces attempted criminal homicide charges following a domestic dispute that escalated into gunfire Saturday morning in Pleasant Mount Township. Pennsylvania State Police troopers were dispatched to a residence on Daw Road shortly after 8:00 a.m. after receiving an emergency report of shots fired.
According to investigators, a woman fled the home and ran to a neighbor's house to call 911 after a man, identified as Mark Renninger, allegedly fired multiple shots at her. Police confirmed that the victim was not struck by the gunfire and was uninjured. Responding troopers successfully located Renninger at the scene and took him into custody without further incident. The shooting remains under active investigation by state police.
