Wilkes-Barre Police investigate shooting of teen

Wilkes Barre police are investigating the shooting of a teen. Police say it happened in the basement of a home on Maffet Street around 3am Monday. A female teen suffered a gunshot to the abdomen and is undergoing treatment. Other juveniles are reported to have been at the scene at the time. The investigation continues into what happened. It's believed to have been accidental.
